Today, we want to tell you about a special young lady: Blessing Kinya.
At the beginning of the school year in January, while other students were returning to class, Blessing was at home. Her family simply did not have the funds to send her back to school.
Our contact in Kenya, Esther, discovered Blessing there and learned of the situation. Not wanting her to miss the school year, Ester stepped in immediately. She paid for Blessing’s uniforms and essential school supplies and spoke with the school principal, who graciously agreed to allow Blessing to begin attending classes with the understanding that tuition would be paid as soon as possible.
Because of that act of faith and compassion, Blessing is now back in school.
We are now seeking to raise $825 to cover Blessing’s full year of tuition, reimburse Esther for the uniforms and supplies she so generously provided, and ensure that Blessing can complete the school year without uncertainty.
Blessing’s family will also be receiving one of the Kizazi homes we are building, which makes this opportunity even more meaningful. A safe home and an education together can truly change the trajectory of a young person’s life.
If you feel led to help sponsor Blessing’s education, we would be deeply grateful. Whether through full sponsorship or shared support with others, every contribution moves us closer to this goal.
Thank you for praying for Blessing and her family. We trust that God will provide exactly what is needed—He always does!
