Jambo!

We made it safely to Kenya very late last night. After all the travel, we are definitely worn out, but we were back out this morning exploring the beauty of Kenya.

Our missionary host, Esther, took us all over Nairobi to experience Kenyan culture, and today was pure joy! First, we visited a nature conservancy where we had the opportunity to feed giraffes. The conservancy has played a vital role in saving the Rothschild giraffe from the brink of extinction.

Next, we toured a bead factory and spoke with artisans who create beautiful beads from clay found on Mt. Kenya. This business intentionally employs single mothers, providing them with opportunities to support their families and thrive.

We finished the day at Esther's home, where she showed us such beautiful hospitality. We left with full stomachs, wonderful conversations, and eager hearts ready for the days ahead!

Still, Esther reminded us that the tasks themselves are not the most important thing. Rather, experiencing life with people and loving others well is what truly matters.

Thank you for your continued prayers! We are excited to see what God has in store.

Usiku mwema! (Good night!)
