Day 7 – Our Final Day of Construction
Today was our last day in Meru, and before heading to the construction site, we stopped at the tea factory. It was fascinating to see how the green leaves we helped pick yesterday are transformed into the tea we drink. The tea produced here is considered some of the finest in the world. Day 6 –Time flies when you are serving the Lord!
Today was another blessing. Every day brings challenges that require perseverance, patience, and flexibility, but there is always joy! We serve a faithful God, and He is with us here in Kenya. The day started with a little surprise as we made a small detour on the way to our construction sites to visit Ester's mother-in-law's tea plantation and school. Day 5 – The Celebrations Continue
Today brought more construction work, followed by three house dedications. Although the homes are in various stages of completion, we are dedicating them while we are here, even though some will not be fully finished until after we leave. Word has spread throughout the area, and the celebrations are growing! Charlotte and Katelynn dedicated the Kathure family's home on behalf of the Brodowicz family. I cannot say this enough—we are surrounded by incredible joy and gratitude.
